Books Wanted What We Buy: We buy quality books in a wide range of subjects, though we are particularly interested in acquiring books in our areas of specialty. In Novels we carry Science Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, Mysteries and Thrillers, Teen Fiction & Manga in both hardcover and paperback. In Nonfiction, we specialize in hardcover and softcover titles in Children's Books, Children's Illustrated, Cookbooks, Classics, Metaphysics, plus a wide selection of books in many other subjects from Americana to Zoology. We buy collections in most other subject areas as well. We do require books in very good quality condition. Books that are not in very good condition, even if they are old, are rarely of interest to us. What We Do Not Buy: The kinds of books we do not buy are textbooks, encyclopedia sets, Reader’s Digest condensed books, as well as most modern biographies. Books in fair or poor condition and books that have been through a public library are other examples of books we would not be interested in. How to Sell us Your Books: We will need to physically see the books before we can make an offer on them. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, you can bring the books to our store. Please call ahead and make an appointment. If the collection is too large to bring, we recommend bringing a small sample of the kind of books you have; maybe a box or two. Unfortunately we are far too busy at the store to be able to get away and come look at book collections as we did in the past. Kinda chained to the shop these days!
